Over 100,000 people rely on us. The Parking Permit Program is one way SPARC BC works to create a just and healthy society for all. Designated parking allows people with disabilities to have access to buildings and services in the community.

Independant Senior Living

Description: 
Pioneer Place consists of two buildings: one with 15 single units and 2 double units the other with 12 single units and 2 double units. Each building has a central lounge available for the enjoyment of all the tenants. Pioneer Place is a residence for seniors capable of independent living. It is not an assisted living facility. The primary purpose of the Caring Companions Program is to provide elders/seniors with mental or emotional limitations with companionship and non-medical assistance in maintaining their quality of life. This client-paid program is available to Bulkley Valley seniors and families. 

Home and Community Care

Home Support services are provided to foster a healthy home environment and facilitate independent living for clients by helping to meet the physical and emotional needs of individuals and families in their own homes. The intent of the service is to enable adults with chronic or long term disability to remain as independent as possible by assisting with activities of daily living and personal care. The service is not intended to replace the care provided by family or friends but rather to supplement when caregivers are not able to. Home Support is not an emergency service.
