Moms Stop the Harm (MSTH) is a network of Canadian mothers and families whose loved ones have died due to substance misuse. Our network calls for an end to the failed war on drugs. We envision a new approach based on reducing harm, where people who misuse drugs are treated with dignity, respect, compassion and support. Harm reduction is a practical approach to drug use. It recognizes that quitting drugs may not be realistic or desirable for everyone.

Alateen, a part of the Al-Anon Family Groups, is a fellowship of young people (mostly teenagers) whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking whether they are in your life drinking or not.
